    I guess you don't have a DVD burner ?
You could cut it up and put it on several SVCDs

  4. Then why not just make it into a DVD instead of a VCD or SVCD? You'll even get better compatibility with other players as a bonus. A DVD can hold over 4gigs, you could even put another short film on the same disk. Its a Win-Win cenario. And everyone likes those

It's illegal to tell people to shoot themselves, so I can't do that
How about reading the Nero help ?

  8. Well, if the mpeg file is in a valid format...

Then all you need to do is use a DVD authoring program such as TMPGEnc DVD Author to author the disk...

Although TMPGEnc DVD Author is not free, there is a trial period on it. InfoEdit is free, but it is very limited in its capacities...

    Hope that helps.

so difficult to tell what? The process is quite simple, even though i sounds a little complicated. If you don't want any fancy menus, it it little more than telling the DVD authoring program where the mpegs are and saying "make me a DVD".
