Trouble with TMPGenc - Lordsmurfs guide

Hi,

I am trying to follow Lordsmurfs capture guide to convert some home movies through my ATI Raedon 7500 graphics card.

All goes well with the capture, the file plays back great.

When I try to load the file into TMPGenc the programme crashes with the windows error report.

A box then comes up saying that the mp2 file is not supported.

I have increased the prioroty of Direct show multimedia file reader to 3 and the AVI VFW to 1 in the environmental settings.

If I capture using VDub the file is accepted no problem.

I have the following programs installed - could there be a conflict ?
Main Concept version 1.4
Power DVD 5
CCC 2.5

Update, found the problem. It was power dvd 5.
Re-installed xp version and bingo.
