    Is this as easy as I think it is? Could I just hook up the firewire between the two camcorders and press play on one and record on the other. I used to have a D8 camera but it stopped working. Now I have a MiniDV camera but I still have a bunch of old D8 tapes. I am going to borrow a D8 to do this. Anyone know of any issues with this sort of transfer?
