Wheneever I use DVDschrink or IC7 my system resets.
Does anybody has had this before?
The system works fine with everything else, but as soon as I use those programs to compile the movies it just resets the system.
The MS dump says it is about a driver. Well I installed my Imagefile which has only the basic stuff of WINXP PRO.
Or hase anybody heard that it could be the Memory or MOBO. It canīt be the Videocard, as I changed it with a Geforec2MX and it is the same.
My config is:
Windows XP PRO + SP1
Ti4200 64DDR RAM
Pioneer a06 drive
Pinnavle PRO TV card
2 x 60GB Seagate Harddrives at 7200rpm
512DDR Memory at 333Mhz from Kingston.
MOBO is from Liteon
Many many thanks for any help.
Johny

OK, what do you mean by "resets"?
What type of CPU do you have? AMD or Intel?

I was having this problem, My CPU was overheating. It was the only thing that was pushing my CPU enough to make it HOT enough to reboot. I figured it out by getting some probs and finding out what the specs were for my CPU.
Since then installed a Thermaltake Volcano 11 and some Arctic Silver III paste and I haven't hit 45 degrees since. BTW my CPU was crashing at 70 degrees. -
