Why don't you start up your DVD burner program in file mode
and tell it to write the VIDEO_TS folder to the DVD writer ?

  3. If you just copied the files off the DVD onto your hard drive, it probably won't work. That is if the DVD was copy protected. You will need to get the VOB files from a DVD ripping program.

You must shrink it or split it two dvds because a dvdr only fits around 4.38 GB

(just skip the ripping part if you already have ripped the files to your hd)
