The Silver and Red Boards

Is there any way for the forums to possibly change (or add to) the board style (option) colors?I like the Red and Silver but I think they're getting somewhat old.

I'm not experienced with PHP so that's why I'm asking.

Yep, it is possible and easy to other board styles. I can see what I can do.

Check under your Profile->Preference->Board style

It is just to show how easy it is to add new templates, well...some adjustements are necassary but not much.

One question - did you change the word wrap functionality? As of yesterday I had to either scroll, or go full screen for new windows and today, it's not necessary.

If you've changed that intentionally, thanks for that too! Makes it much easier to browse & read/reply.

I think when we tested the new design it must have screwed up the settings. All I did was retype in 'Moderator' in my member status field and it came back blue.

Baldrick... what I wrote earlier about the word wrap? Actually, it is keeping the ads on the site from being accessible. They are way off to the right and no left/right scrollbar shows up. (Unless I'm wrong and they are not on the pages I'm viewing.)

I like the site like it is actually!

If color changes are made though, I would like to suggest keeping dim colors that can be read well. I think many of us spend ALOT of time here, so bright colors could cause us to go blind faster! And dark ones would be hard for people like me to read as I am on the way already I think!

Where can I find a brail monitor by the way?

A paint job is ok, as long as it's not too far from it's original color
and doesn't "taint" or ruin the "bonding" feeling that vcdhelp has given me
an anyone else on the same level as I am here !!

The thing is, the different styles is used on a person to person basis. So if ya'll like the current look, ya'll can keep it, which is really neat. What surprised me is that it didn't change just the colors, but also the arrangement and everything. Very cool.

Baldrick I think you chose just about thee most ugliest colors you could ever pick...probably so we would all go back and love the good ole' silver and red!
