In case anyone is interested there is a simple app that converts PCM to AIFF very quickly. I had this problem: When trying to rip my own DVD-r created in iDVD (which uses PCM audio) I couldn't demux the audio. Finally found, after 2 weeks of searching a number of forums and following many complicated and fruitless leads, a French site that specifically addressed the issue. http://www.macetvideo.com/pcm2aiff/pcm2aiff.htmlhttp://Using a52decX this solves the problem.
Hope this may help the few out t...
Norman
