I am getting the following error whenever I use the kvcd preset:
INFO: [mplex] mplex version 2.2.2 ($Date: 2003/05/13 20:27:15 $)
**ERROR: [mplex] Unable to open file /Users/tokyotony/Desktop/MusicVideo/Eurthmyics-Rain Again kvcd.dv.m1v for reading.
Any ideas?

Thanks for the advice. I have shortened the name to only 2 letters and put the test folder as high as possible. I still get this error:
**ERROR: [mplex] Unable to open file /Volumes/MovieProjects/MusicVideoTest/EA.m2v for reading.
And, I do notice that there is not EA.m2v file created anyway.
Hmmmm....

Well, after installing 8c, I'm no longer getting the same error, but now a new one:
INFO: [mplex] SYSTEMS/PROGRAM stream:
**ERROR: [mplex] Variable bit-rate stream present: output stream (max) data-rate *must* be specified!
The complete terminal dialog is as follows:
