I want to hook up my stereo so i can have surround sound. There is a button that says video/aux, so im pretty sure it can be done. The only problem is the rc jacks on the back are just audio, white and red, and there is no yellow. I have a rf modulator because the tv doesnt have them either, i also just got the new digital cable box.... can anyone help me out? what do i do?

1)
rc jacks on the back are just audio
2) Write exactly what you want to hook up to what with available connections on both devices -
Assuming the cable box has read & white phono outputs - just connect them to the stero with a straight stereo phono to phono lead. (RCA to RCA x 2)
Red and White for the left and right channel audio (stereo) the yellow is composite video which there is no need to connect.
Depending on your stereo/hi-fi you may be able to get dolby pro-logic (aka surround sound) - this still comes via the same two phono socket outputs from your tv/dvd player etc but splits the sound into left, right, centre and rear effects. If your stereo is not Dolby Pro Logic - then you'll have to make do with Stereo only (still better than a Mono output from your RF modulated TV signal)
Hope this helps ...
