  1. I am looking for a software that I can edit and play my own VCD. I need to be able to burn my own CD on a standard CD-R and play a continuous loop in a DVS system. I will probably need the player with the editing software.

I am very new to this video stuff and am just trying to learn some of it. All I really want to do is learn how to do one specific thing and I would be extremely happy.

Right now the CD that I use in the player has a couple of files on it. It has the movie file (VCD format), a player (a share ware copy righted in 1995), and a small script for the player to auto run, and a few Windows files. I am looking to be able to do the same the thing.

I want to be able to import a video (from a VCR, Digital Cam Corder, or a analog Cam Corder etc…), edit the clips so they play continuously (like a time line) place them on a CD and have them play on a television full screen with no edges.

I have been looking for a school or someone that can teach me how to accomplish this but have had no luck in this area (Cincinnati, Ohio). We have a Micro Center and a Comp USA computer store local but they nor anyone else offer anything with Video software other than sales.

    Thank you,
    Brian

You topic is very general and it'd take a lot for someone to respond to fully.

Have you tried the TOOLS & GUIDES sections on this site yet? Lots of very useful info there. A good place to start. :c)

After you've tried some, do searches for any additional info you need. If you don't find it that way, ask specific questions and someone will probably come along with experience with it.
    There's no place like 127.0.0.1
The Rogue Pixel: Pixels are like elephants. Every once in a while one of them will go nuts.
