Hi, I have an .avi file which it just over 700mb, can it be burnt to a 700mb CDR by decreasing the size some how? I don't want to make a VCD but just to get it off my HD onto CDR, Thanks

I think recompressing it would be the best way for me, what software would I require?

VirtualDub.
Look on the left hand side for the guides..Or, you can simply open up your .AVI in Vdub, cut the beginning and end credits, do a direct stream copy with audio and video. That way you don't have to recompress (thus loosing any quality), and it's fast..
