    I'm using TMPGenc and when I'm converting Avi to mpeg it takes forever like 1 hour and a half
    it plays the whole movie file
    does it suppose to do it like that
    is there a way to convert the file without viewing the whole thing??
    Please help

    You can switch preview off, but it will make no diffrence to the time it takes.

    Takes a lot less on a P4
