I have had good success with the plug in, but I did have to go through this process to get everything in order:
- remove all the MSP and plugin software
- re-install the basic version of MSP
- apply the MSP patch 6.0.0.2 (get from their website)
- now install the plug-in

You must do it in the above order. That fixed my problems.

Also, the built-in Ligos encoder in MSP6 is really terrible. You are far better off to use TMPGEnc -- it has built-in settings for encoding the various formats.

I have recently purchased the Ulead DVD plugin for use with Media Studio Pro 6, with the express purpose of creating my own mini-DVD's (I am a 3d artist/muso).
Supposedly this plugin will do it(according to their site) and my Omni SPL3000g will play mini-DVD, according to this site.
For a start MSP6 will only let me encode a SVCD with constant bit rate , which kinda defeats the purpose, and loox crap! It crashes if I choose the VBR option...hmmmm
I have never had any problems before with MSP6.
Ok....now if I encode a vcd/scvd or dvd within MSP6 and then try to got to export to DVD plugin the following happens:
I cannot elect to have key scenes, or the plugin goes no further/crashes, so I untick this box. Ok..now I get to the burning screen and my HP8100 cd burner does not show up in the option box. It only says no driver! Great ....
I have lotsa Ulead software(all legally purchased by the way) and have always admired its stability and ease of use.
Either Ulead have released some seriosly buggy software here , or I am doing something wrong!
If anyone on here has had success with the plugin using Media Studio Pro, I would be eternally grateful! Otherwise I had better start saving for the new Pineer drive...
