I have a 6 hour movie that I'm putting onto DVD. The source quality is subpar, so having it compressed to 6 hours should work out.
regardless, I have 40 tapes... So, i'll need to sacrifice on the quality to make the project doable.
So, here's what I want to do.
First, the main menu will have six chapters for each show. Then, I want that to open up to a subchapter with 10 minute chapters.
can this be done?

Yes,
option 1: just open up create all the chapters as you would normally, then put only the chapters at the beginning of the episodes on one menu, then have those link to sub menus for the chapters
option 2: break up the episodes in 6 equal parts and have 6 different titles with chapter marks, then make menus same as above.
