Man, I don't know if I should say this...

I'm still playing Quake 2 and Tomb Raider 3.
Not that I haven't finished them (I have) I just enjoy em.
I have bought a couple of later one's, but nothing that made we want to finish them.
No, wait, Medal of Honour (yes, correct spelling in the UK ) is pretty cool.
If I could stop my PC resetting at random I'd pick up where I left off in that one!

  17. Few games can you play for over a month. I have to say I'm on the bandwagon with my favorite game being GTA 3 or Vice City.

HAHA, you got warned.. what a rookie mistake.. you should have just said "good old blockbuster", because people know what you mean, but the mods cant bust you because blockbuster sells games too! adding dvd-r burner to that is what screwed you..

but anyhow, i dont think swap magic 3.0 is going to solve the DNAS issues.. if you put in an original madden 04 (in an unmodded system), and then hotswap a copy and try to go online DNAS still gets you. it knows you have a copy in there.. i'm thinking it does a media id check (along with modchip checks)..

Will the mods close the whole topic? Because it's not my fault that he added that info...I just made the topic for legit games.

As long as the topic does not turn about the warez, they will not. Just drop it and let the comment slide.

Will Hay, I still play many games around the Quake 2 era. I never really liked the quake games, so I don't play those, but I do still play Sid Meier's Alpha Centari. And I even occationa play Outpost, that was made back when the dinosaurs roamed the earth I think. You know, the Quake 1 era?

  22. Am I the only one that still plays Counter-Strike on the computer? Man that is the greatest game. I heard on X-Play on TechTV that more people play that game online then all the other games online combined.

Is this true? I would believe it though because there are so many servers out there and so many people playing. Its a great online game.

Can't wait till Half Life 2 comes out..........then comes Counter-Strike 2 based on that new Half Life 2 engine. YAY.

I may buy all the other first person shooter games, but I doubt all online games. Those MMRPGs like Everquest and Anarchy online have quite a huge following.

  26. Ya I thought it was hard to believe too but thats what I heard on X-Play. They usually tell pretty accurate information. I think I've actually heard that some other place too. Hmmmmm maybe I can dig something up.

    PC:
    Rainbow Six: Raven Shield
    Ghost Recon and all expansions
Battlefield 1942 and all expansions (including the latest)
    Neverwinter Nights and expansion
    Freelancer
Civilization 3 (ownz me everytime, tank>knight)
MS Flight Simulator 2004 (though it's not really a game)

    PS2:
    Gran Turismo 3
Need For Speed (6 now isn't it?)
    World Rally Championship
    GTA 3
    GTA Vice City
    Star Wars: Starfighter
    Final Fantasy X
    Medal of Honor
    Ace Combat 4
    The Getaway

And I own all the games I listed above. I figure if I enjoy playing them it's worth paying for them. And I don't bother playing anything I don't think I'll enjoy. Freelancer was bought on a whim just to see what it was like and that was a great impulse buy.

As for the latest BF1942 expansion: it isn't as obscene as many thought it would be to the line. The secret weapons it added are pretty balanced (it's hard as sin to pilot the faster aircraft without experiencing CFIT), and the rocket pack is more like a jump-booster (and it has a unique weapons kit like the German medic sans the med-kit). I especially love the guided missiles, but I bet it's the first thing to go in MP games. Otherwise there are some great vehicles added to the game and the new maps are a lot of fun. It's worth buying if you still think it's blasphemous to the genre.

Rally, is the getaway any good? Some of my friends played it but didnt like it because apparently it takes forever to regain health.

Devanshu, I know you asked Rally, but The Getaway health recovery is actually really good. Better than running around finding health kits, packs, etc. IMO. All you need to do is find a place out of the line of fire and you're fine. :c)

P.S. Just got Reign of Fire - surprisingly good considering it's from a film (historically a bad idea) and.... playing a preview copy (full version) of Tron 2 - amazing!

It's cool. I asked rally because he listed it in his set of games but all I needed was an answer. I think I'll give it a rent after this coming week's over(I have a LOT of tests coming up).
