Definitely fire. As a kid I was burning some pine needles in the woods once I almost couldn't put it out. Scared the piss out of me. I could have leveled an entire national park but boy was it fun.

    online or offline?
tgpo, my real dad, told me to make a maximum of 5,806 posts on vcdhelp.com in one lifetime. So I have.

    T-rex or raptor?

  5. Raptor because they were supposed to be more intelligent social
animals that hunted in groups unlike Mr T who, although tries to look
mean, is really the softest member of the A-TEAM.

Corporal or capital punishment for terrorists?
    Quote Quote
  6. Corporal. I do not agree at all with capital punishment, but I won't say any more for fear of sparking off a debate. I can't watch the Green Mile again - that's how strongly I feel on that one.

How ******* brutal was that movie? I thought it was an excellent film but I'll be danmed if I put myself through that again!

That's a tough one. I'd have to go with OK surround. Any self-respecting movie fan has to have at least 5.1 surround.

Big budget "event" type films: See it in the theater or wait for the DVD?
    Quote Quote
  8. The Green Mile was easily the most disturbing film I have ever seen. It was an excellent film, and I think the director has succeeded to the point that I won't even buy the film! Poor bugger, bet he never saw that one coming - a film that's too good to buy...

teegee, your question is a tough one. I like to see some in the theatres, but others I wait for. Mostly...

    Wait. I just do.

GM (read: everyday) or organic food?

  9. Organic food. I don't trust GM companies but I can't always
afford the real alternative due to the sometimes outrageous price
    hike.

The Green Mile was a great film.
Brown's use of the 1st AC powered Electric Chair by Westinghouse
was so succesful, they had to wait 3 hours before the body cooled down
to declare the poor fellow was dead.

    Vegetarian or pass the chops?
    Quote Quote
  10. If capital punishment must be employed, what is wrong with a bullet through the skull? It's quick and painless compared to the electric chair, but still has the "desired" effect. I know about the deterrent factor but frankly it seems to make very little difference.

    Pass the chops, definitely!

  16. U2 - ******* brilliant

    Clear Pepsi

    or

    Vanilla Coke

  17. Clear Pepsi (AKA "Tab" in the UK, not sold for years...) because Vanilla Coke is nasty. It was so bad that the campus store was giving it away, even then only a few people wanted it!

I've had both and the sleeper is better because of the surprise factor

It's cool, man! I wasn't going to touch that one with a ten foot pole but I would have found it most amusing had someone else answered. Was sort of looking forward to it.

In answer to your query: Overclock. 'Tis a beautiful thing to get more out of your CPU for free. Too bad I have a shit MB. Besides, I'd probably fry the sucker somehow. I'm lucky like that.

Intel, for many reasons, but mainly because of SSE-2 (faster encoding) and because I haven't burnt one yet even when heatsink fan died

PC or MAC ? (and please let it be answered by someone who has them both *at home*)
    Quote Quote
  30. Where's tgpo when you need him?

I used to use Macs and I was forced to turn to the Dark Side by my skinny wallet.

It's a tough question because they're both good at different things. The best answer? A Mac with SoftWindows! Best of both worlds!

OK, easier one this time. MP3 or Vorbis?
