  1. I just coverted my asf file to mpg by using TMGenc
    and it came out the same quality
    so what to i have to do with the setting to make the quality like a real mpg
    thx a lot

  2. You cat get better than what you start with. You always loose quality when you encode/transcode.

  3. For the most part, Thayne is correct. You can however use a program like Virtual Dub and apply filters to it. That will make the quality slightly better if you use the right ones and in the right order.

    But, for future reference, never expect any mpeg to look better than the source.
