Thunder In Paradise!
No doubt your art looks good.
Some just think its a little bit too much/large as a signature.
Its your choice to leave it there , nobody will force you to remove it.

so FOO, why not lose the patheitic attitude you seem to have as you can see it's pissing quite a few people off and post only the information that matters which you are very good at
I'm on your case, so just look at me as Big Brother or just call me the flaminator -
Oh, I just noticed you can't select to not view signatures in your profile. Nuts.
Maybe they need to update phpbb to a version that does. -
OH OH OH, wait wait, let me get this straight now. You babies started crying just because you don't run your windows maximized, so I'm supposed to change my artwork and my signature, JUST TO SUIT YOUR GUYS' INTERNET SURFING HABITS?!?!? GET REAL!
No, I'm never changing it, and I'm not removing it, so piss off. And thanks MackemX and Tompika for taking my side against these morons who have to waste posting space with needless crap and complaining. Later! -

To answer a few of the original and subsequent questions simply.... this is all in the guides... one labeled something like: "how to copy the movie and menus blah blah blah"
I
1) rip the entire DVD to disk with Smartripper or DVDDecryptor
2) Use DVD Shrink, open "Files" instead of disk, and point to the decrypted files. Pick the top one, and analyze.
3) When through with analyzation, You want to minimize compression on the main movie. To do that, eliminate foreign language soundtracks and subtitiles. Then, go into the extras and menus and ... for everything that can be compressed... increase compression to maximum or choose "still picture". Some people like to delete this stuff or modify it (remove extras) and then reauthor. I like to save all of the original menus and stuff of the original disk, so that it all works but the best/least compression is saved for the movie. When you are through, choose "backup", and it will create a new directory and put your new disk.
4) Burn. I use Nero 5.5.10.50, choose DVD video, ISO 1, joliett off. burn at max media speed up to 4x for my burner. -
As for the sig,
I don't actually care that much, but it does nothng for the message, and IS bigger than some of the posts it's attached to!
Why waist the bandwith?
Then there are those of us at like 32k connections so all those gigantic graphics eat time to actually get to the messages at hand, which is the actual point of the forum, information!
Sure it looks nice, but then again I could just go to like artwork.com or something too
This thread ain't so bad YET, but if it takes forever to load one, perhaps some of us just skip it, then you miss answers you are looking for. Kinda defeats the purpose of posting.
Just Think if we all used full width 3" high graphic sigs what a mess this site would be!
To each his own, but personally when I use a sig I try to make something meaningful! Like a link to something important, perhaps a my business website. That is usefull since I have a product to sell, and on the proper forum I get business from those looking for the product.
Not something pertaining to DVD type stuff so I don't blast it out here, not important to the intentions of this site nor fit in.
So Instead of waisting space for nothing I just don't use a sig and it works nicely for everyone
ALthough I do alot of art for business, when it comes to the forum, I don't waist my time on it, instead I read the guides and do searches looking for the info I need/want, then I post my questions if I don't find the answers I need. -
Isn't it funny?, we're having this huge argument about signatures and crap, and in comes overloaded with a normal response actaully pertaining the topic I started. :P Also overloaded, if it's badass art you want to checkout, like my "army", head on over to gsarchives.net.

I agree about the annoying picture. I have my windows maxed out and full resolution, although I don't think anyone posting an annoying picture where it doesn't belong has any right to tell others how to position or size windows or how to set their resolution.
That said, here is a way to filter out the annoying picture. Edit your hosts file and enter the following information
127.0.0.1 members.roadfly.com
Of course, anything from members.roadfly.com will be blocked. -

Most people choose a forum to joing because of the content of the forum, not for pretty pics! I am here because it pertains to information of something I have an interest in learning, or helping others learn.
I rarely go to Clickart.com! About a million pretty pics there, but not something I am interseted in
Although I do use many images and some clipart in the work I do. But I mostley make my own, not cut and paste from other existing works.
As for the thread, I clicked it to see if I could either be of help to someone having a problem, or gain info in case I someday have the same problem.
Again, not to view a pretty pic.
Now, the size of the thread is not that bad yet as far as size, but with enough over sized pics it will start taking too long to download. Since I am in a rural area and only have a 32k connection, and sometimes not that good, I will skip the thread when it starts taking a full minute or 2 to open.
So might many others! Many of us have work to do! We just hang out here durring free time a few minutes here and there.
Maybe all day long, but not really got the time for pics.
Now whats important to you? Showing a pretty pic that serves no useful purpose, or getting a quick good answer to your problems or questions?
Myself personally would choose to get answers! -
"Since I am in a rural area and only have a 32k connection, and sometimes not that good, I will skip the thread when it starts taking a full minute or 2 to open."
Well, you're lucky to still be able to read the thread after one or two minutes.
I get a "30 seconds time-out error", after.........30 seconds.
It means that I don't get to see the whole page.
My browser is MyIE2, which allows me to view a page without any images just by clicking on a "filter" button.
So that's what I now do most of the time when visiting DVDRHelp.
I was looking for a "number of posts per page" setting in the forums options but didn't find any.
Is there one? -
I been getting alot of time out errors in the last few days too, then I have to refresh the page. It got reall bad at newegg.com! I was even having a hard time shopping!
That's what I mean about useless images, if I run into a post like this one and have too many problems because of pics, I skip it! Not good for the poster if I happened to have the answer they were looking for, know what I mean
It's not just me of course, I try to think of others also. I'm sure I'm not the only one with slow connections!
I do put up with pages that have screen shots of programs though. They contain usefull info and serve an actual purpose! Though I also find them annoying for the reason of loading the pages.
Gonna send ya a PM about shrink also.
