I have a DVD5 movie and I wish to backup in an easy and straight forward method. What I did was to firstly, copy the the 2 folder(Audio & Video) to the hard disk using the copy and paste function of window. Second, I opened Nero6, select dvd-rom UDF/ISO and dragged the 2 folders there and then burned. Finished!! Is this correct? I should get an exact copy of the disk. Has anyone tried this method? Any advice?

That won't work since 99.9% of original DVD's are copy protected. All you need to do is rip the DVD with SmartRipper (free) into a "VIDEO_TS" folder then burn that folder with RecordNow Max or Nero.

Assuming it is a not a protected DVD, then yes it should work.

One more thing. In the UDF tab, should I select physical format or virtual format Thanks

DVD5toDVDR or DVDRtoDVDR is very simple, you dont need anything but DVD Decrypter.
Make(read) an ISO image then write(burn) that ISO image. Thats it.
You stop me again whilst I'm walking and I'll cut your fv<king Jacob's off.
