I want to make SVCDs from PAL VHS tapes which have relatively fast-moving action on the screen (Australian Rules Football to be precise).
I capture with an ASUS V7700 deluxe, Athlon 1200, 256MB SDRAM.
I am using VirtualDub 1.4.7. I have experimented with various capture modes, with and without compression, but I still can't seem to get a smooth, good quality capture.
Can someone recommend the best quality settings for capturing and compressing my tapes.
Thanks
Geoff
