I recently captured video from my DV camcorder with a Pinnacle Moviebox. It's encoded into MPEG when I did it. I was wondering two things:
When I try to burn it using Pinnacle studio 8, it seems to encode it again and the burning process takes 2 maybe 3 hours for 1 hour of video. Is this normal?
Also, I place the DVD into my Apex player, the fastest fastforward speed is 2x. Anything past that and it stalls and must start from the beginning again. Is this normal also?
I have a Pinnacle DV moviebox with firewire transfer from cam to box and firewire to comp. I use CompUSA brand DVD-R which is rated at 1X and made by FMI.
