Desperately need to upgrade my DVD player but not sure which way to go. I currently have a Grundig GDV620HT which only plays DVD or CD and nothing else. The beauty of this model though is the home cinema speakers that came with it.

The question is, do I go for another home thatre set, buy a 5:1 compatible player or a stand-alone player with 3D surround sound in-built

I'm willing to spend up to approx GBP£150 but I do need something that will play other formats.

Please help.
