on the intalation instructions it asks:
1. COPY README.WRI TO THE *ROOT* OF THE PARTITION FROM WHICH YOU INSTALL
aint got a clue wot i need to do, anyone know?

That's the problem with pirated software . . . lousy documentation.
What it means is that if you are installing from the C: drive, copy the readme.wri file that is one of the installation files to the root directory of the C: drive (ie, not to a folder in the drive, to the drive above the folders) -

you CAN buy it -- it is part of DVDA from sony (sonic foundry) and the same price ... but now comes with mpeg2 encoding also ...

i never knew that, i read it wasnt avaliable any more....
anyway it dont work for me, crashes when i try n convert a wav 2 ac3
