I capture VHS with WinDV and the result are very good. Somehow, since the sources are from VHS, I expected there are noises present. After re-encode to VCD with TmpgEnc, I like the result BUT I still want to get less noise a little more.
Are there otherway to capture with noise reduction while capturing????
thanks

how many times has this been posted ?
DV is not capture but a file transfer ... you have to post proccess it only ..
use the noise reduction filter in tmpgenc ..."Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -

I try to import the file into virtual dub for process but it refuse to import. It said VFW codecs something????
Any ideas to fix this.
thanks -
You need to install a DV codec that supports Video For Windows (VFW) which is what VirtualDub is compatible with. The Panasonic and Mainconcept codecs both work well (I haven't had much luck with the Canopus one for some reason). Check the tools section of this website for availability.
I personally prefer AVISynth for frameserving into TMPGEnc but you'll still need a codec.
