    I have this weird problem with all video editing programs. I have used ArcSoft VideoImpression, AVIedit, Jasc Animation Shop, etc. When I try to output to AVI in any of these programs, I run into problems. In ArcSoft, I'll click to save to AVI and it sits there and spits out an AVI file that is 0 bytes and I can't delete it until I exit the program. In AVIedit, I try to make a frame and it says it can't open outputBM.avi. I have problems outputting to AVI in any program so I'm assuming my system is missing something. Do I need some kind of drivers or program to output to AVI?

    I too have this problem but with Virtual Dub but still havent figured out a way to fix it
