  1. I want to capture a football game with my ReplayTV and also record the radio broadcast on to my computer and then mux the audio/video together.

What would be the best way to do this and properly synch the files?

Also, what bitrate settings and format should I record the audio at?

    Thanks a bunch,
    Jason.

you are probably going to want to use a video editing program to get the sync right.

(although, how tight do you need it in sync? how much "game sound" do you get in a radio broadcast?)

if I were going to do this, I would capture in avi format, lightly compressed (Huffyuv or MJPEG), capture the audio as a wav file, and import both of them into the editor.

I would delete the original audio track from the avi, and lay in the wav file from the radio. I would then try to find some action that I can correlate with the video, so I can use that to sync. (maybe a referee calling a flag?)

once you have it synced, either render it as an mpeg, or render it as an avi and encode it to mpeg in a different encoder.

You can use Gold Wave to record the audio from the line in port to a wave file. Then use TMPGEnc to mux the two together.
    Hello.
