Got a problem with Nero 6

Recently I've tried to use Nero and it has been saying that the drive I'm trying to use is currently in use by another application. All my other writning applications do not have this problem. I have tried deleting all my other writing applications and it still says the same message. It is giving me a big headache! Please someone help me!

Try updating to the latest version, for Nero 5 or 6, whichever one you have. See if that fixes your problem.

nero in not compatible with Easy Cd creator, Roxio, etc.
try to uninstall those, (but UNINSTALL, not just delete the folder) and then install or update to Nero 6

disable INCD and/or DLA (comes with record now max) in the config sys startup files

for win98

from start menu select RUN type in MSCONFIG hit ok

select the start up tab and untick INCD and/or DLA(or any other packet writing software you have) hit ok and restart your computer nero should now work

to use INCD/DLA you can manually start the program from the respective folders in c:\ program files..... you will need to restart windows if you need to use nero after you have run INCD/DLA etc
