AVIStreamSetFormat failed error

I get this error: AVIStreamSetFormat failed
DVD movie being converted using DivX 5 as codec

Using DVD 2.2 to make the conversion
This error will come up and you have to start over. Hours wasted.

What are these errors and what do you do to correct in the settings to fix?

I dual backup my DVD's to DVD backup for frequent use and to avi as an extra safeguard.. I don't have the fix but rather the same problem since upgrading from 5.05 to 5.1. I can add that it probably is not the fault of dvdx because I get the same error with DVD Ripper #1 and dvd Ripper IMTOO. Unless they are all based on the same basic code which was publically released by the author of DVDX. I have been very fortunate that it comes up in the first few minutes of the encode so at least I don't have to waste a lot of time.
