    Hi,
    I just got my Canopus ADVC100 today and I would like to ask a few question
    - What is the best method to capture from VHS ( DV type 1 or 2 )
    - I would like to use Canopus DV CODEC , anyone has the site to download this???

    isn't the Canopus DV codec a hardware codec in the ADVC itself?

    They have a software codec too. You can BUY it at the Canopus web site. I couldn't tell you where you can steal it.

    what housepig says is correct though ... the file will be using the canopus codec no mater what is installed on your PC system ...
