    Ok, I want to convert an avi (890,528 KB) to a SINGLE disk VCD. I know I need to convert this file to an MPEG and I want to use Tmpeg but what setting do I use to ensure that this file will not be too large for a single VCD? Thanks in advance for the help.

    The only guide I found contained instructions on how to make 2 VCD's. I only want (1). I'll keep looking. Thanks

  5. quality will be awful, but if your DVD player wont support SVCD/CVD, and you dont have another cd to spare...
    Ejoc's CVD Page:
    DVDDecrypter -> DVD2AVI -> Vobsub -> AVISynth -> TMPGEnc -> VCDEasy

    DVD:
    DVDShrink -> RecordNow DX

    Capture:
    VirualDub -> AVISynth -> QuEnc -> ffmpeggui -> TMPGEnc DVD Author

  6. Use KVCD 352x240 PLUS templates. They have almost the same quality as VCD (not noticable difference), but can fit up to 2 hours of video on one CD. The length of video you can fit on one CD usually differs with the kind of file you have, but it will for sure be greater then 1h 20m (VCD).
