help with audio data: Tag 8192

i recently downloaded two .avi movies. neither of them will work on any movieplaying programme i have. when i use divxplayer i get a message telling me that the file contains unrecognized data:
Audio data: Tag 8192
i have gspot, and it tells me that i have a codec which should make these files work. but i can't render or anything. does anyone know what i can do?

Hi, not sure if you ever got to the bottom of this, but I am having similar problems. I'm not at home just now so cannot test the suggested solutions, but I've found quite a few suggestions by searching all forums for 8192 - hopefully one of these will solve your / my problem. The next suggestion I'm going to try is installing the AC3Filter (my audio is AC3) - fingers crossed...
