    my Toshiba 2200 DVD player is still giving me disk error. Please help me with this since I have been dealing with this problem forever.

    Read the manual to your DVD player. Does it say anywhere that it reads CD-R or CD-RW media?

    If it doesn't then your player wasn't designed to read recordable CD media and not surprisingly, it does so poorly.

    You will probably have to experiment with different brands of CD-R media to find one that works. CD-RW media often works better in these cases.
