  1. Just installed dvdx and trying to convert a movie 2 XviD.
    Movie : Wedlock
    conversion : dvd 2 XviD
    version dvdx : 2.2
    freezingpoint : exactly 50,0%

This is such a point that I don't belive it is an accident.
Where do I start to fix this problem.

    thnx

  2. Under "output settings" go to the "max frame" section and click the "whole" button. This will allow you to encode the whole film.

  3. Did that (Sorry, but I'm no newbue 2 dvdx only 2 xvid or divx)
and I know that while setting the incorrect max frame, it doesn't freeze dvdx, it just ends.
And at my comp. dvdx freezes.

    But thnx anyway.

  4. Are you converting straight from the disc or did you rip it to your hard drive first?

  5. Converting from HD on a NTFS HD. (so no 2 Gig limit or whatever)

trying it again, changed some output and input settings (like detect24)

  7. It may be a glich in DVDx. Check out this forum post;http://www.labdv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?topic=3610&forum=16&1. Also it may help to uncheck the 1st pass settings if you are doing a 2 pass. I've never encoded to avi with DVDx so I'm not sure. Try it and let us know how you make out.

  8. Use Video Server Plugin and TMPGEnc for better results.

  10. Oke

    Changed 2 a 1-pass and some settings 2 rgb24.

    everything is going fine now.
I think the 2-pass is the bottleneck
