Hello everybody,
I burned my first DVD yesterday, it works but not completely faultless.
I used the following :
- DVD compliant video stream, encoded with Tmpg
- static bmp pictures for a slideshow (rem : pictures with long filenames)
- Sonic MyDVD 4.04 (build 73194) for authoring, building the slideshows and burning the media
- IIsonic DVD +-R/RW (4x) burner (burnproof, 8MB cache, firmware 2.16)
First try on DVD-R media : movie runs but stops and freezes the DVD after a few minutes; slideshows don't run and make the DVD stop![]()
Second try on DVD+R media : everything ok![]()
What did I do wrong since on DVD-R obviously it doesn't work properly ?
If anybody out there knows how to help me that would very appreciated.
Thanks a lot anyway!
Jacobus

What computer & operating system? Cause some of them have a playing time limit when you reach 4 gigs.
