Alright, since cleaning my current DVD Player hasn't helped anything, and considering that it costs a ton of money to get somebody to look at the thing, I'm just going to go ahead and get a new and hopefully much better player. I'm looking for a good player in the <$200 range. Preferebly closer to $150 if at all possible. Are there any noteworthy or recommended players in that range that have progressive scan and a 5+ disc capacity? I really appreciate any help you can provide.

There is a Sony progressive scan DVD player a friend of mine got. Plays everything that we have backed up no problems. Sorry I can't remember the model number, but with the success I have had with the Sony DVD players, I think that is all I will ever buy from now on.
