Does anyone have this machine....any comments?

its seems to have all the specs im looking for and a nice price dont want to end up with another dud......ie the philips 880dvr

any pro or cons would be great!

i have just spoken to someone at argos who KNOWS what there talking about - hard to believe i know!!

this machine with playback all that is thrown at it but records (drumroll please) -r only............................


still, at £299 it aint that back

im gonna get one today and take advantage of their 16 day money back thingy if its crapola

hhhmmm...i think im gonna hang on, after the palava with my philips 880. The trouble is, im lookin for specs that dont exist in one package yet.
I want:

Dual Format -r/-rw +r/+rw
Hard Drive
MP3 Compatable
and Multi-region would be a bonus, ut not too bothered about that.

Is that asking too much?

They KNOW so much that they've got that wrong...............

It's a +RW/+R recorder based on the Mustek DVDR100A (Cirrus logic design)
