  1. Hi,

our company has a promotional DVD which we own the rights to. Trouble is there's a flash screen of our dutch partners contact details and we want to replace that with our UK details.

Can you please let me know the best method of replacing those frames with our contact details.

I've tried converting to AVI etc, but I'm sure there must be a way of doing this without decode / encoding??

(There's no copy protection on the DVD, its a promo shoot)

    Any advice greatfully received.

if you don't want to reencode what you've already made, you could do this:

make your new flash screen into an mpeg.

using your authoring program of choice, create a vob from that mpeg.

use ChopperXP to cut the original flash screen out of the original vob.

replace it with the new one, use a vob joiner to rejoin your vobs, and re-burn.

I have never tried this, so I'm not 100% sure it will work, but I see no reason it shouldn't.

And in any case, ChopperXP is pretty fast in it's operations, so if it won't work, it won't take you too long to find out...
