    Yo!
I still have problems with the audio, seems like I never is going to get this right!
first of all; when I load a movie inn virtualdub I get this:
Virtualdub has detected an improper VBR encoding in the source AVI file and will rewrite the audio header with standard CBR values during processing for better compability. This may introduce skew... and so on!
I understand that I have to recode the audio, but when? Before or after I split the file? I usallly splitt it in 2 and sometimes it seems like the first part is okay, and the next is f**** up!!!
It may seem to me that virtualdub messes up the splitting!
Please help, have tonns of movies, but no one is corret!!!
We came, we saw, we kicked his ass!

Stop downloading movies off the Internet? People encode VBR audio to mess with people :P

Seperate the audio and video, then re-encode the audio, then the video then mux.

That topic header will sure win you over a lot of friends. People will be falling all over themselves to help you out.

Next time try "Still have audio sync problems, can someone please help".

Maybe you should think about wording your title a little differently.

When you see that about every tenth post you tend to not
    get very excited about it.

This will fix your problem easily without having to split, convert, etc.

Open the file in Virtualdub. Click on the audio tab, select "Full Processing mode" from the pull-down menu. Go to Video tab, Select "Direct Stream Copy" from pull-down menu. Now go to File tab, Select "Save as AVI".

Save as a different name and it'll be fixed. *NOTE: The file will be nearly twice as large as original, but with no audio problems.

Yeah, its attention grabbing, but it does not grab the attention of people that want to help you, just the ones that want to read it to flame you etc..

I agree. I NEVER seperate the Video and Audio. I always have sync issues. I do just what soundforbjt said. This works every time.
