Has anyone bought the Pacific D1000 from Asda for £100. It's supposed to read everything. is it multiregion and how stable is the playback of NTSC. It looks like the Rowa but I understand they are completely different inside.

Yes ive got rid of my philips 711 and brought a pacific dvd 1000 from asda im very impressed with it it plays everything i put in it including dvd-r which my philips wouldnt play its clear and plays mp3s to boot a bonus on such a cheap player id recomend them any day
but its not multiregion but will play deregionalised ntsc purfectly -
Thanks for the recommendation. I've been told that it's like a Schneider inside so maybe it will respond to Schneider hacks. Have you tried anything?
