I am more of a ripper but have been given an AVI (DIVX) file. I have just run it through TMPGEnc and now looking for some advice as to what to do next. I have in the past run the file through Ulead Movie Factory 2 but I am wondering if there is anything more reliable to use. I am trying to creat a DVD
Thanks

Look to the left under Author. You'll need to convert your MPEG2 file to a series of VOB/IFO files in a VIDEO_TS folder (assign chapters, generate menus, etc). There are several programs that can do this. Freeware wise IFOEdit for windows and Architect(sp) for Linux. Next up are TMPG DVD Author and DVD Lab (both ~$70). It jumps up from there to about $500 (Reel DVD or Adobe Encore).
