  1. Can anyone please help me!!! Iv done some finlming with my dv video camera and want to transfer it to dvd (vob?) files so i can slap it on a dvd disc and give it to friends, Iv got Adobe Premier 6.5 so i can transfer to there dvd (m2v) and other formats. Can anyone help me ??

  2. Firts you have to convert it to DVD compliant mpeg-2, the author it to DVD video standards and finally burn.

    If you take a look at the LH side of the page, you will find a section Headed HOW TO. Start with the convert section, then Authoring in which many of the guides also cover burning. If you have problems, come back and ask specific questions thet someone may be able to help with.

  3. ok thx mate, im still having problems though cos im unsure what format i need to transfer the mpeg2 iv now got? Is it vob?or will this mpeg file work as it is? Iv used TMPGEnc to transfer to dvd and im now left with one file? i dont really need to add any index or other titles i just want to transfer to dvd so my mate can watch it on his cheap dvd player (in cheap i mean that he cant play vcd ect) there seems to be so much info on these convert/How to bit that us newbe's get easly confused lol

    If you have a mpeg2 file, you then need to author it and then you can burn it to DVD.
