Are there any authoring programs out there that can accept vobs?
I have dvd's i've made with Seinfeld episodes, and i want to take episodes from different dvd's,make a new menu and burn.I can save the selected vobs with dvd shrink into one file, but i need a program that will accept them to make a new menu and burn.
I have dvdws, but it won't take vobs.I opened them in vdub, saved as an avi, then made a compliant video with tmpge, but the quality deteriorated enough that i don't want to use that method.I tried frameserving from vdub, but i had audio sync problems.
    Thanks for any help.

TMPGEnc DVD Author will accept VOB files and allow you to make a main menu and a menu for each episode.

You can download the trial verson here

  4. You don't have the re-encode them to use them. I'm not sure what dvdws likes, but there are a number of programs that will demux the video and audio out. For example vobedit.

I personally think DVD-Lab is a good option. I just wanted to point out that you could most likely do what you want with dvdws.
I mean it in the nicest way.
