hello,
i just downloaded the latest version of ffmpegx but i cant find the option to set contrast of my films. I usually convert videoclips (from mtv and stuff) that i download from the web (ntsc vcd mpeg) to pal vcd. i use the quick preset from ffmpegx, shall i put the bitrate higger, like say 1300? would it mean better quality?

Contrast is a filter available for DivX and XviD encoding only. VCD encoding filters are for now luminance contrast and saturation. I'll probably add more filters in a later version. For more detail check the online manual.
