  1. All,

    I have recently got ulead dvd workshop 1.0 as i was told you could make moving menus etc.

    Basically im going from vcd to dvd. I have worked out how to add files etc but i cant figure out the below,

    * With dvd movie factory 2 i can change the audio setting from lcpm (i think) to mpeg - this means i can get loads more files onto 1 dvd. How do i do this in workshop?

    * How do i change the thumb nails pics on a basic menu? In Movie factory i just clicked on a pic and dragged to where a good looking frame was.

    * How do i go about making a motion menu?

    Soory for all the questions in one post - i just didnt want to put loads on seperatly and overload the thread with my questions.

    Any help or guides would be appreciated.

    When you get to the FINISH stage...

    1. Click the MAKE DISC button;

    2. Click CUSTOMIZE;

    3. Click the COMPRESSION tab and look at the drop-down list next to AUDIO FORMAT;

    4. You should see LPCM as an option in the drop-down list.

    Motion menu creation tutorials are available FREE on the Ulead Web site.

    You should also upgrade to 1.3 version for free at the Ulead web site (more stable version).

  4. Thats for the tips guys. I have been able to make a motion menu now.

    One thing though - it only gives me the option to have upto 5 secs of motion in the background and on the thumbnails.

    Is there any way to increase this?

    The evaluation version limits motion menus to five seconds. The full version allows them to be of arbitrary length.
