hi all.sorry to be thick,i've done loads of searches,but can't get a working solution.i have an mpeg where it looks like it was origionally 16.9,but has been strtched to fit 4.3,leaving all the people long and thin.i want to convert it back to 16.9.i've tried loads of settings using TMPGenc plus,but it always comes out 4.3 and stretched.could someone point me in the right direction?thanks for your time.

When you load your video file in TMPGEnc, on the Advanced tab, choose 16x9 for the aspect ratio of your source video, and then either choose 16x9 on the video tab if your output is going to be 16x9 (to watch on a 16x9 TV). Or choose 4:3 on the video tab, then on the advanced tab choose Full Screen Keep Aspect Ratio for the Video Arrange setting, if you want to letterbox it, and watch it on a 4:3 TV. That should take care of it.
