I am editing a movie using Adobe Premiere on my PC that is running Windows XP. I need to export the movie and put it on a data cd so it can be viewed on a Macintosh computer at school. I've already tried once, but the video codec I used was not available over there. At that time, i was trying to export it as an AVI file. Now, i'm thinking about maybe just exporting the file as a quicktime file (widely used at school). Problem is, it also requires a "compressor." Does anyone know if there is a standard compressor to use so it could be viewed on the Mac at school (without giving me a "we don't have this codec" error) in either format (avi or quicktime)? Basically I'm asking: what is a standard codec to use that can be viewed on both a Windows machine and a Mac?
Thanks!

I use Quicktime using the 'sorenson' codec. (verison 3 if you can get it)
And I have not had any cross platform problems.
