  1. Hi,

I backed up a dvd using DVDFAB using the split functionality so I could put the whole dvd on two dvd's. It worked fine, however when I was watching the movie, it stopped and prompted me to insert disc 2. It seems DVDFAB has put a portion of the main movie on disc 1 and the other portion on disc 2. All the extras are on disc 1 which also has the animated menu's etc.

Is there any way to get the whole movie on disc 1 and the extras on disc 2.

If not, is there any other way to do this???

  2. Good question. By the look of the lack of responses I guess I can assume no is the answer. How about atleast putting the menu on both discs? Is that possible?

I am not sure but I think that this is the way dvdfab needs to do things. No you can not put a menu on your second disk. Therefore you need the menu on the first disk and therefore all the extras must be on the first disk so you can choose them.

  4. You can use DVDStripper to select which titles you want on disc 1 (the movie, for example) and disc 2 (the extras, for example) and still retain the menus on both discs. If the movie is too big, you can use DVDShrink to 'compress' it afterwards.
