    Hi,

I've never been able to get ffmpeg to work right. All I ever get is a file.m1v file after encoding. I select the make bin/.cue files but I never get that. I want to burn VCD's and I'm sure I'm doing something silly and wrong.

  2. If your source is a VOB file, you should make sure that you're selecting the correct audio track number in the audio tab, or the audio will not be encoded. The track number must match the source audio track number, as extracted with 0SEx.

The file is a .mov quicktime movie without sound. (yes I've unchecked "encode audio"). I tried dragging the file onto Toast but it doesn't like it. VLC player will play it. Strange

  4. You must use a sound file, as a VCD compliant stream has both video and audio. You should take the .m1v file and use the "Mux as.. VCD" tool in the Tools tab to combine it with a WAV audio file (create a silent one, if you don't want sound).
