DVDs with record now max

Everytime i use the copy to copy a dvd from the dvd drive and write after a few minutes are quite along way through doing a movie, i can these error

Data Job Terminated with errors
error 10 at sector 15066
disc writeerror command 2a Sense :03 ASC:0c ASCQ:00

Whats this all about? its making me lots of coasters,

Ive swapped from nero 6 as that made dvd problems and many ppl have said it has bugs making dvds and recommended this new program, but ive still had more problems than successful burns.

Can anyone help? had this problem and solved it?
Is it a reading error from my source disk?

could be errors on the source disk or bad write media or it could be a buffer underrun (most likely) try ripping the source to the hdd first (use dvd decrypter or smart ripper both are free programs) the burn with record now max. Also make sure dma mode is enabled, if you still get errors then its most likely the write media wot media are you using and what dvd-rw drive are you using ?

it could be a few things:


1. your computer is not fast enough to do a full dvd-dvd copy.

2. the material you are trying to copy might be copy protected.

3. it could be the media you are using to burn

usually when record now gives an error like that it sees something wrong with the disc (this kind fo error also appears when a dvd is authored wrong or a ripped disc is missing files)

Try to switch to different DVD media.

I got a lot of coasters when I used Longten 4X DVD-R and a bad batch of Princo 1x DVD-R.

And since I switch to B's Recorder Gold 5, I'm be able to burn 100% successful rate with both Longten and Princo's.
