    Are there any currently available DVD Players that have successful Macrovision and CGMS/A hacks available? I know APEX for example is hackable but the only source is ebay and I would prefer to purchase over the counter instead of going through an auction....

    Any advice?

    You can upgrade yourself, or buy from other sources than ebay.

    I bought a region/macro free apex from amazon marketplace. You pay amazon, which pays the seller. The seller I bought from was a company, not an individual, and amazon seems to have better consumer protection terms than ebay.
